Thule OutPace 2 Bike (9012)

The Thule OutPace 2 (9012) is an ultra compact and lightweight tow bar mounted cycle carrier that's easy to store and handle. Because of its foldable nature, the rack fits in tighter spaces than traditional 2 bike towbar mounted racks, making it the ideal choice for those living in flats or with limited storage space. With a small footprint of just 94 x 76 x 24 cm it will also easily disappear into your car boot when not in use, without taking up all the space. Once mounted to your vehicle, the OutPace features a dual-tilt mechanism: tilt it down (even when loaded) to access your vehicle’s boot, or tilt it up for compact parking storage when not carrying bikes. 

The clever independent, and articulated bike arms have an adjustable pivoting head and strap which allows the Thule OutPace to accommodate a wide range of bike frames from 20mm to 90mm tube width. This design incorporates an innovative loading system, which allows users to mount and remove bikes in any order, a great help if you just want one bike off the rack.

Of course, like all Thule Towbar bike racks the OutPace has integral lights and numberplate holder to keep you safe and legal. Thule has also thought about security as the carrier locks to the towbar and the bikes lock to the carrier.
